LHH is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for a client in Indianapolis. This role will support daily HR operations including full cycle recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, leave of absence, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews for open positions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and meet staffing needs.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding processes, including preparing offer letters, collecting documentation, and facilitating orientation sessions.
- Serve as a point of contact for new employees, ensuring a positive and seamless transition into the company.
- Support the HR team in addressing employee concerns and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Act as a resource for employees on HR-related inquiries and policy interpretation.
- Assist in documenting and facilitating performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions in alignment with company policies.
- Help maintain and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Communicate and enforce policies to employees in a clear and consistent manner.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
- Prepare reports and support other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
- At least 1 year of Human Resources experience (strong internships will be considered)
- SHRM-CP strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- HRIS and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
